2011: A Landslide of Change at Webnode

node change and evolve in the past year? We wrote up a brief recap of the most important events that occurred throughout 2011.
Launched in January, the new image editor for the header now allows you to change the look of your site easily, thanks to the smart editing features it offers.
In February, a new eshop administration interface was developed, which resulted in improved order management and the new options for tracking, free shipping and automatic stock check.
The first set of new templates appeared in March. Eight more sets of templates were made available in 2011 amounting to 100 different looks for websites, and eshops got 4 new sets adding up to almost 40 new looks altogether!
In April, Webnode noticed an increase in social awareness related to the Fukushima incident globally, the catastrophe matched with a viral spread over social networks.
May was the start of further language versions of Webnode, the first being French followed by Italian, Hungarian, Russian, Japanese and Dutch, now serving a total of 17 languages.

Webnode EDU was launched in June, a project designed for easy use of Webnode for teaching. Already over 1500 schools are teaching students how to create a website all over the world.
In July, the Webnode web editor got a modern look that simplifies working with your web. Many new features also made your site even more attractive.
August was the first month for our Web of the Month Contest. The winning website was Visual Studio Programming.

September was marked by launching the newest photo gallery which is not only easy to work with, but its modern design will surely attract visitors.
In October, a new upload manager was implemented for easier and faster file upload.
November was devoted to launching live chat support to help you with any issues you might face, in real-time!
The highlight of December was our distribution of Christmas gifts. A week before Christmas, Webnode gave out vouchers on its Facebook pages, a total of more than 70 vouchers for free Premium packages! 
Throughout the year, alongside these events, our users have been our top priority. Last year, the number doubled. At 5 million users, we handled 150,000 customer support inquiries and 3000 posts on Facebook and Twitter!
We believe this year will be as successful as the last one and we hope a website at Webnode will bring you great joy and satisfaction!
