Webnode's Trip to Spain
July 19th, 2012
At the beginning of July we went on a mini tour to Spain, aiming to meet up with our Webnode users in person! We were looking for some important feedback on Webnode. For six days we traveled 800 km and met our incredible users in Madrid, Lorca and Malaga. Along the way, we had the opportunity to talk with many interesting people who work on large projects and we gained inspiration for further work on the development of Webnode.
At first hand we saw how openly the Spanish people can share their enthusiasm! We briefly introduced undergoing innovations at Webnode. Then we discussed our users’ views on what is working properly in Webnode and about any improvements needed. Throughout our talks with our users, we learned many interesting things and so we chose two stories that captured our attention the most.
Malena & Saskia – trabajosporelmundo.com

These very active users made a website about half a year ago and didn’t know just how much commotion it will unleash. They publish job opportunities abroad on their site. Last month it was visited by over 40 thousand people! “There’s a really difficult situation in Spain, because more than half of our youth are unemployed. Working abroad is one of the ways to gain the necessary experience. We created our Webnode website in one afternoon and then it was up to us to look for offers,” Malena told us enthusiastically.
Carlos – clubmarketingtc.webnode.com
Carlos, who shares his story with us, also captured our heart. “Because of health problems I had to retire early and leave my life hobby – the world of marketing. At that moment I was looking for something new and I found Webnode. I created a self-help site, and with other professionals in the field, we’ve been sharing our experience and knowledge with our younger colleagues for more than two years.” We are very pleased he is proud of his work!
We also learned many new things about Webnode. We had long discussions about what’s most important to users and where Webnode can be further improved. We’ve already passed all comments and suggestions to our development team!
