This month the winner of the “Web of the Month” contest is a blog created by a 25-year-old businesswoman with a passion for fashion and beauty – Savana Ferreira. What was just a distraction at first, has today become something that bears fruit. Keep reading to learn about the history of Dicas de Savana (“Tips by Savana”).
Savana always liked to read books about fashion and stayed up-to-date on the newest trends at all times. In order to share what she believed might be interesting for women, she decided to create a blog. She found Webnode in search results – “I found Webnode when searching to create a free blog, I found the tool very simple and easy and decided to create my own blog.” Savana says in her e-mail.
The blog was just a hobby at the beginning, but after a few months when Savana had specialized in a course in Image Consulting, she gave the blog a makeover in quality and content, plus a new look. She tells us: “one friend, a designer, helped me make the layout and this made the blog even more professional”.

“I started sharing the link with friends, and the blog gradually gained more visits”.
Savana tells us that using social networks was essential to spreading the news of her blog – “Creating accounts on all current social networks and always updating them helps a lot to promote a website. I have Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for the blog“. Another thing that also helps a lot in getting the blog dicasdasavana.com known, is the promotion of sweepstakes she makes with the help of the city’s shops and businesses that operate in the field of fashion and beauty – “I send emails to offer a partnership for companies that interest me, in exchange with sharing their products or for money”.
In her email, Savana says: “With the blog, I achieved recognition in my city, where I’ve been called several times to give interviews for newspapers and magazines. But I desire much more and I have many ideas for the coming years. I want to further improve my blog content, invest in a professional camera, I intend to create a video channel, an online store, a physical store and maybe even my own brand”.
We wish continued success for Savana and her blog. Keep up the good work!
